Case: Shanghai Disney Supporting Hotel /Narada Resort & Spa Shanghai

此项目为上海迪士尼配套酒店改造案，占地30000多平方米。原三栋厂房建筑被保留，在重新规划和充分利用后，一号楼作商业配套空间，包括了大堂、餐厅、儿童游乐场及健身房；二号楼和三号楼设置为客房。整体建筑以现代古典的风格为主，设计上考虑建筑更新和迪士尼文化的关系。原平顶上加盖对称式斜屋顶，融入意大利北部城市费拉拉的古城堡建筑元素，并于屋顶侧面设置多个玻璃窗，引入无太阳直射之采光，平顶空间则被充分利用。建筑的外围规划了大量的庭院空间，将新中式园林的造园艺术环绕在建筑边缘，随着四季变幻，营造不同的自然美景。

This project, a Shanghai Disney Resort supporting hotel renovation case, covers an area of more than 30,000 square meters. It comprises three original factory buildings which are rezoned and fully used. Building 1 serves as a commercial supporting area, consisting of a lobby, restaurant, children's playground and gym, while Building 2 and Building 3 are reserved as guest room area. The overall architecture is dominated by the modern classical style, reflecting the relationship between architectural renewal and Disney culture in the design. The original flat roof is covered with a symmetrical sloping roof that incorporates the ancient castle architectural elements of the northern Italian city of Ferrara. In addition, multiple glass windows are set up on the roof sides to introduce lighting without direct solar radiation. The flat top space is fully utilized. Plenty of courtyard space is planned on the periphery of the buildings, wrapping the new Chinese gardening art around the building edges, which create unique natural beauty as the seasons change.

每栋建筑功能分区明确和相互联系。作为面向游客窗口的大堂为加建建筑，面积800多平方米，高26米，尽显富丽堂皇之气；其建筑下方的米白墙体结合秩序排列的拱形玻璃窗，突显现代古典风格，上方采用大面积的通透玻璃幕墙，以创造室内良好的视觉和透光环境；客房建筑之间的空地则被多个建筑体围筑成两个大型的中庭空间，空地上方的金字塔以玻璃幕墙遮盖，形成室内空间建筑化，同时串联三个建筑体，改变原厂房的各自独立是建筑面貌。

Each building has clear and interconnected functions. The 26-meter-high lobby that receives tourists is an extra facility of building, covering an area of more than 800 square meters in majestic splendor. The off-white walls at the lower part of the building, coupled with orderly arranged arch glass windows, highlight the modern classical style. The upper part adopts a large area of transparent glass curtain wall to create a good indoor visual and photic atmosphere. The open space between the guest room buildings is enclosed into two large atrium spaces by multiple architectures. The pyramid above the open space is shielded with a glass curtain wall, forming an interior space architecture. It also connects the three buildings, to alter the independent architectural appearance of the original factory buildings.

酒店客房基于游客的需求和实现酒店商业价值，酒店共规划出320间客房，极大地满足当地客流需求。二号楼设置了复式星空家庭房、王子复式房、公主复式套和商务套间等房型，满足不同家庭和个人需求；考虑到游客群中年轻情侣居多，三号楼则设置为个性化定制房，专为情侣而设。此外，考虑到一楼客房的隐私问题，在房间中打造了一方小庭院，隔断外界视线，让房客享受自然的愉悦。而专为儿童打造的室内外游乐场，以魔方、方块、星空等元素开启奇幻梦境之旅，亦回应了迪士尼。

Based on the needs of tourists and the commercial value of the hotel, the hotel is schematized with a total of 320 guest rooms, greatly meeting the local needs on passenger flow. Building 2 furnishes duplex starry family suites, prince duplex suites, princess duplex suites and business suites, to satisfy the needs of various families and individuals. Since many of the tourists are young lovers, Building 3 provides personalized custom-tailor rooms to meet their needs. Considering the privacy for the first-floor guest rooms, a small courtyard is built in the rooms to cut off the outside sight, so that the roomers can enjoy the natural pleasure. The indoor and outdoor playgrounds specially designed for children kick off a magical dream journey with the elements of magic cube, square, and starry sky, which also responds to the Disney theme.

作为建筑改造项目，主体建筑全部保留，减少建筑垃圾的产生，同时尽可能选用当地材料，减少运输的成本和损耗。此外，本项目的中央空调均采用节能环保的地源热泵系统，所使用的地热能源是绿色环保的可再生能源，利用地下浅层地热资源，在不产生二氧化碳气体、产生热岛效应的同时，实现夏季制冷和冬季制热；同时，温度宜人，噪音低，符合人体的健康需求。

As a building renovation project, the main buildings are all preserved to reduce the generation of construction waste. Local materials are chosen wherever possible to cut down the transportation cost and loss. The central air conditioning of this project adopts the energy-saving and environment-friendly ground source heat pump system. The geothermal energy used is as a green and renewable energy. The shallow underground geothermal resources are applied to realize summer cooling and winter heating without producing greenhouse gas and heat island effect. At the same time, the temperature is pleasant, and the noise is low, meeting human health needs.
